Naima Sultana, FCA Founder & Principal

A seasoned Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 13 years of diverse experience in audit, accounting, development finance, tax advisory, and strategic leadership. She is a fellow member of ICAB and brings a rich background of serving clients across multiple industries. She began her professional journey at ACNABIN Chartered Accountants, a member firm of Baker Tilly International, where she rose to the position of Deputy Director (Audit & Advisory). During her tenure at ACNABIN, she led statutory and compliance audits, internal control reviews, and consultancy engagements for clients across various industries. Her work included risk assessments, audit planning, and preparation of internal control questionnaires, designing financial systems, and preparing policy manuals for numerous local and multinational organizations. Following her time at ACNABIN, Ms. Sultana joined International Development Group LLC (IDG), where she served first as Finance Manager and later as Senior Finance and Operations Manager on USAID-funded projects. There, she managed donor reporting, budgeting, expenditure audits, payroll, VAT compliance, and financial analysis for development programs, ensuring adherence to strict US Government regulations. Her work in the development sector allowed her to gain in-depth expertise in donor compliance, project accounting, and international finance. She is known for her analytical rigor, commitment to client service, and leadership in driving innovation within the accounting profession. In addition to her current role, she has been actively involved in academia and professional training. She has served as a resource person for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), conducting training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing the skills of articled students and newly qualified accountants.
